Guess where you woke up. A new city every day, no map, no street view.
Today's free web leg
You wake up somewhere unknown. Six clues tell you what it feels like to be there: the vibe, the food, the streets, what things cost. You get six guesses, and every miss shows how far off you are and which way to go.
In the app
Layover for iPhone and Android turns the daily guess into a full trip: three legs a day, a passport that fills up, and a class that climbs the longer you keep flying.

A new boarding pass each day: find a city, name a country, recognise a flag. Each leg starts at 500 points with two clues open, and every extra clue costs 60. Win all three for the full sheet bonus.
Play Easy, four options and one tap, or Hard, a blank field and five attempts.
Get it right, get the stamp. Your passport keeps every place you found, each inked in its own colour. Most stamps are Common. Some are Rare. A few are Legendary.
Your travel class climbs with every day you play. Miss a day or two and you keep your seat; stay away longer and you drop a class.
Past Private Jet, a Jet star every 30 days, without end.
Every leg scores points. Compare yours on the weekly board, see who takes the podium, then the week resets and everyone boards again.
Open an extra clue, stamp the region on your ticket, take the compass, or get the first letter in Hard mode. Hints spend credits. Save your passport and you collect a free credit each day, up to 3.
Share a stamp as a postcard, or the whole day as a boarding pass: each leg, admitted or not, and your points. Never a place name, so nobody gets spoiled and your friends can fly the same route.
An optional monthly pass. Replay every past day, unranked, and get 2 extra hint credits each day. The daily set always stays free.
Hint credit packs are available too, and both are optional.
How it works
Each leg opens with clues about a place. Read them, picture it, and name where you have landed.
In the app every leg starts at 500 points with two clues open. Each extra clue costs 60. Read a little further or trust your hunch.
Get it right, get the stamp. Compare points on the weekly board, then come back tomorrow for another landing.

Questions
Yes. The web leg is free, and in the app the daily set stays free. Hint credit packs and the Explorer Pass are optional purchases.
A city round: six clues about what it feels like to be there, six guesses, one city, and a result card to share. A new one starts every day. It is its own puzzle, separate from the app's City leg. The Country and Flag legs, hints, stamps, travel classes and weekly ranks are in the app.
Layover is on its way to the App Store and Google Play. Leave your email in the box above and we will tell you the day it lands. The store buttons on this page switch on as soon as each listing is live.
Not on the web. In the app you can play your first leg straight away; after that, save your passport with your email. There is no password: we send a six digit code.
No. The web leg keeps its streak in this browser only. In the app your stamps, streak and travel class live on your passport, and once you save it with your email they follow you to a new phone.
The web leg is one city for everyone, and it changes at midnight UTC. In the app, the day rolls over at midnight on your own clock.
